We only stayed for a night, ate at the restaurant, the food was really good, the bar was well stocked, the beach just a few minutes stroll away is just breathtaking. We will be going back and staying longer, I can highly recommend freshwater to anyone. TOOTS13 October 2024Verified Home from home. We took our camper Van's. Pitches good and well kept. Mobile2603509603311 October 2024Verified Fab at Freshwater We had not been to Freshwater Beach before, so initially we had only booked for 4 nights in our touring caravan (just to see if it was OK!) We ended up staying for 10 nights! We thoroughly enjoyed it and found it was great for our three small dogs. There were plenty of options to walk and exercise them, they too, had a good holiday! Some sites advertise as dog friendly, and we discover that at best, they are dog tolerant! This site was dog friendly and we will definitely be going back. It was a great walk through the golf course (on a authorised footpath) to West Bay, most of the time the tide allows you to walk to and fro to West Bay along the beach, although I didn't feel too comfortable near the base of the fragile cliff face, and there are warnings about the dangers. The site was extremely tidy, the grass was kept really well. The outside pool is a great size for swimming and a good temperature, I didn't experience the inside pools as they were primarily fun pools. ProfessorGrey7 October 2024Verified Another fantastic stay! Having just got home from our 4th stay at Freshwater I felt I needed to say how happy we were with everything again. The site is very well maintained and clean. The amenities are great but most importantly the staff are fantastic. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful and extremely personable. We would have no hesitation in recommending Freshwater to anyone and look forward to our next visit. Tori A29 September 2024Verified Best touring pitches we've visted in a long time! Booked in at Freshwater Beach as we were doing an 18mile charity walk nearby. Absolutely stunning beach a stones throw away! Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were lovely and clean. Loads of activities to keep the children entertained. Pitches were clean and well kept perfect for setting up our motorhome. We've booked again for next year!! David S19 September 2024Verified First Time Camping I have never been camping before so didn't really know what to expect. But to be honest I couldn't fault it, Everything was clean and the Spar shop was the same as high street prices. The staff were friendly and helpful. Like i say I couldn't fault it. I would go again Yom M7 September 2024Verified Fantastic family park As with previous visits, we had a fantastic time , the facilities are great, staff are great, range of food and drinks is great , (rattler on tap is a big selling point for me haha) we’ve been 6 times in 2 years and love it, good size touring pitches, the private beach and large grass area are brilliant for keeping the kids occupied, genuinely do not have a bad word to say Emily A6 September 2024Verified Lovely stay We had a lovely time at freshwater as a family of 4. The children loved the swimming pool and all that has to offer. They also loved the evening entertaining, although it was quieter as we were out of season there were still things going on. Food was very good also. Will definitely be returning 😊 Mark_isle_of_wight5 September 2024Verified Amazing Had a fantastic time at Freshwater Beach. A 6 berth modern caravan right on the beach. The staff were amazing at check in and all the facilities around the park was just perfect. The onsite Spar shop was cheaper than a high street shop! The restaurant 'Rolling Stone' the food was amazing, huge portions and the Steak & Ale pie was exquisite. The cleanliness was faultless, service was excellent and I can not recommend enough Freshwater Beach Holiday Park. Jo-ey892 September 2024Verified A fab way to end the holidays!! We’ve just come home from a 6 night stay in our motorhome. I had read the reviews on a camping page on Facebook for freshwater and thought it was the perfect place to spend the last week of the summer holidays with our children 9 & 6. We booked a pitch on the top field and on arrival were so glad we did. The pitch was really spacious and we didn’t feel on top of the people either side even though it was busy. It was quiet on an evening after 10.30 and didn’t seem to hear much morning noise until 8.30am either. The main field did seem very busy however. I havnt found a single thing to bring up as a negative for this site. The staff are all extremely polite and helpful- on our first day I enquired about the sessions with the inflatable in the pool and the lovely young man went out the back and wrote all the sessions down for me on a piece of paper. The entertainment was brilliant- we all enjoyed the bubble show! Every night there is plenty to do for the kids. The yellow coats are amazing!! Each night through summer they have had a takeaway food van arrive on site. The restaurant and takeaway are fairly priced. You can take takeaway food into the evening entertainment which we found very useful. The swimming pools are fab- our kids spent hours in them. The inflatable session was well worth a go in the indoor pool as it was very busy on the outdoor pool session. There is plenty of space for football, kite flying, cricket and all other games. The bathrooms were clean enough- I’ve been to much worse! Although we didn’t bring our dog this time we were suprised at how dog friendly this place actually is and wouldn’t hesitate to bring her next time! Thanks freshwater for a brilliant time, we will see you again soon!!
