- The Beach
Freshwater has it’s own private beach so what better way for the whole family to relax and enjoy a sunny day than a day at the beach, especially when it’s only a five minute walk from your accommodation. The onsite shop is full of beachwear, water toys and picnic bits, so even if you’ve not come prepared for the beach, you’ll have everything you need on site.
- The Outdoor Pool
The outdoor pool area at Freshwater is a great way to spend an afternoon splashing about and basking in the sun. The grass area surrounding the pool makes a great sun bathing spot and the pool itself is a good place to cool off if it’s too hot, or as it is heated, you can still get a warm swim if it’s a bit chilly outside. The best of both worlds.
- Meet Flopper and George
These two friendly characters head up the entertainment at Freshwater and can be regularly seen around the park during the day. Make sure you stop them for a high five and picture when they are out and about. If you have missed them during the day then worry not; they are usually found at the Atlantic Bar when the evening entertainment starts meeting and greeting their adoring public.
- The South West Coast Path
Running through the Park is the world famous South West Coast Path. You can pick up the trail in the park and head either East or West. This can be a bit of a strenuous trail so not suitable for those with mobility issues but it is a good way to tire out energetic children or just take in the breathtaking views of the Jurassic Coast and English Channel.
- The Indoor Pool and Leisure Suite
Located in the Jurassic Fun Centre, the indoor pool area is suitable for any day regardless of the weather. With a fun pool, slides, hot tub, sauna and stream room, the whole family can enjoy their time in the indoor pool. Don’t worry if you have forgotten your costume as swimwear, accessories and swimming aids for all ages are available from the pool reception.
- Evening Entertainment
Every evening during peak times, the Atlantic Bar is open for an evening full of entertainment. The entertainment team will be on hand to offer fun-filled evenings, in-house shows, interactive games, singing, dancing and plenty of laughs; and with guest cabaret acts ranging from animal shows, magicians and tribute acts, you can sit and relax whilst the children are entertained.
- Outdoor Pool Party
Everyone loves a pool party. Our entertainment team regularly bring out the tunes and the dance moves to turn the outdoor pool area into party central. All you have to do is be there and the team will guide you through the rest. The low resistance dance moves in the water mean it’s easy to join in, but little can always enjoy the outdoor splash features in time to the music.
- Wildlife Searches around the Park
Freshwater is set in the open countryside and next to the sea, so it is bursting with biodiversity. You can explore the fields that belong to Freshwater, the river and the beach to find all kinds of habitats. Bugs, birds and rabbits aplenty, why not try and find as many different species of animals as you can?
- Ten Pin Bowling in the Rolling Stone Bar and Restaurant
Located upstairs in the Jurassic Fun Centre, is the Rolling Stone Bar and Restaurant and a full size american ten pin bowling alley. Unleash your competitive sides and strike out together with a game of bowling whilst enjoying a drink from the bar and finishing off with a meal from the delicious and varied restaurant menu (Don’t forget to check the specials board).
- Inflatable Sessions
Both the indoor and outdoor pool have inflatable sessions where a giant assault course takes over the pool for a limited time. Will you successfully navigate the tricky features or take the splash into the water? Our friendly lifeguards are always on hand to help you across and make sure that children of all ages can enjoy the fun of the inflatable.
